The developers of Dead Island 2 from Dumbster Studio have shared fresh details about their project. In an interview with journalists from the Game Informer portal, the team talked about what awaits fans in the new part of the dilogy.

So, according to the team, they had to abandon a number of functionalities that were present in the original. For example, in Dead Island 2 there will be no mini-games and vehicles, so you will have to explore the locations on your own two feet. However, the project will have a lot of new things, including several variants of zombies and interesting tasks. There will be a minimum of quests to collect something and deliver it somewhere - in this regard, the authors tried to make Dead Island 2 less tedious.

As for the VR mode, so far the studio is considering whether to add it to the main title or release it as a separate entertainment. The release of the game will take place on April 28 this year.
