Director Chad Stahelski has shared details on the status of the film adaptation of Ghost of Tsushima . According to him, despite the fact that the script is written, before the start of filming is still far away. At the moment, the filmmaker has many projects, and he has not yet decided where to start.
Obviously, Ghost of Tsushima is a special project. Everyone understands this. Everyone wants to do it with the introduction of new technologies and a new way to create the atmosphere of an epic samurai adventure. There's just a lot to put together before we start filming. And a big responsibility at this stage lies with me. And we're in that process right now, trying to put it all together.
Remember, the game was released in 2020. The action takes place in 1274, during the first Mongol invasion of Japan.

So far, both games are in the early stages of development.
