EA has abandoned mobile Battlefield. Apex Legends Mobile will close soon

EA pulled the mobile version of Battlefield from Industrial Toys due to inconsistency with the development strategy of the franchise, which is the responsibility of Vince Zampella (Battlefield series leader, founder of Respawn and creator of Titanfall).

We evaluate how mobile devices fit into our strategy. We remain determined to unleash the great potential of Battlefield. Work on improving Battlefield 2042 continues, as well as the preparation of future games in the franchise.

The company is also removing the mobile version of Apex Legends Mobile from development. The team does not meet the deadline for the release of updates, which is why their quality suffers. Access to the servers will close on May 2, 2023 at 03:00 Moscow time.

We are disappointed with this situation, but we are proud of the game and would like to thank the Apex Legends community for their support. We are sure that this is the right decision for the players.
