Take-Two Interactive studio head Strauss Zelnick said Marvel's Midnight Suns project was a financial failure for the publisher. Despite the fact that critics liked the strategy, the novelty did not gain any solid interest among users.
Mr. Zelnick noted that the main reason for the failure is most likely the wrong release date for the game. The fact is that Marvel's Midnight Suns was released in early December last year, when a lot of other titles appeared on sale. And, given the not the biggest budget and, so to speak, the absence of any major innovations in the genre, the project passed by the audience.
Despite this, the publisher expects Marvel's Midnight Suns to have a long tail of post-release sales, allowing for a bit of tweaking.
The developers thanked the fans: "Thank you all for your support. Together, we have reached this important milestone. See you in the vastness of Thedas on October 31st!"
On Metacritic, the film received a score of 46 out of 100 and 5.3 out of 10, which also indicates a cool reception.
There is no need to pay anything for GamesVoice creation.
