A new Call of Duty will be released in 2023

Two well-known insiders at once, Tom Henderson and Jason Schreier, note that Activison may release a new part of the Call of Duty shooter series in 2023. It was originally supposed that the title would skip the current year, but, apparently, the publisher's plans have changed.

According to insiders, the official release of the game will take place towards the end of the year, and the first closed tests are scheduled for early autumn. As for its concept, most likely, the novelty will be somehow connected with the Modern Warfare sub-franchise, but we may not be talking about its full-fledged continuation.

In a word, we are waiting for official announcements from Activision, which, if insiders are right, should appear in the very near future.
