Studio From Software reported that their project Elden Ring sold 20 million copies. This project took almost a year, but, be that as it may, not every game manages to achieve such results for the entire time of its existence.
The company noted that not only digital purchases but also shipped physical copies delivered to stores around the world went into the offset. Remarkably, in just 2 weeks after the release on February 24, 2022, the game has sold more than 12 million times.

The samurai action game couldn't beat out only Helldivers 2 and God of War.
