Andy Serkis is ready to play Gollum again in the new Lord of the Rings films

American actor Andy Serkis, who is famous for playing various non-human characters such as the ape Caesar from the Planet of the Apes and Gollum from the original Lord of the Rings trilogy, is againready to return to the latter. Based on it, Warner Bros. plans to release several new feature films, and Serkis is not averse to participating in their production again.

True, the star has one condition - his former colleagues in the person of Peter Jackson, Philip Boynes and Fran Walsh must work on the films. Andy calls them his family, and therefore, if the WB invite this team to work, then the iconic Smeagol will also appear in them.

It was previously stated that the film studio plans to involve Jackson in new films (however, it is not yet clear what position the director will take). There are no details about upcoming projects yet.
