Yesterday was the September Nintendo Direct, where the company revealed new information for Switch titles already announced and in development, although there were some surprises. For example, we learned about the new Kirby game, saw the first gameplay of Bayonetta 3, which was announced back in 2017, and we were confirmed that a major update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons is being developed, which will appear in November.
The show kicked off with the first trailer for Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak's big expansion. It will be released in the summer of 2022 and will contain a lot of new content, including hunting and quests. Sunbreak looks like the equivalent of Master Rank from the Monster Hunter World's Iceborne expansion.
Released on October 29, Mario Party Superstars in development will feature five mini-games from the Nintendo 64 version. In addition, all mini-games will support online play.
A small surprise was the announcement of a brand new card battler Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars. The game boasts an amazing art style. The whole world, from heroes and villains to cities and environments, will be represented by maps. The game will be released on October 28, although you can pre-order and try out the demo right now.
The detective role-playing game will reach the Nintendo Switch on October 12th. But if you want a physical copy, you'll have to wait until 2022. The game will receive an updated voice acting for literally every in-game line, additional content, including quests, and new animations.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Season Pass Expansion 2 releases October 29th. It will include new story content (Kakariko Village Battle, Gopong, etc.), levels, characters, and additional actions for existing heroes.
If you think car racing games are a thing of the past, then take a look at chocobo racing. Adorable birds from Final Fantasy replace cars from Mario Kart. You will be able to participate in online races, use elemental attacks. The game is scheduled for 2022.
The new Kirby will appear in the spring of 2022. Our hero sets off on a journey into a mysterious world saturated with particles of the post-apocalypse. This is still a classic platform game, but with an open world where you need to use the abilities of the hero.
The developers did not reveal details of the add-on, although we learned that it will be released in November, and in October there will be a separate presentation of Animal Crossing Direct.
Mario Golf: Super Rush will feature familiar characters and several new heroes, including Koopa Troopa and Ninja. These will be new playable characters. We also have a new wave of free add-ons with two new golf courses and a free update coming soon after the end of the Nintendo Direct show.

Chris Pratt voiced Mario in the Super Mario movie, which Nintendo is co-producing with Illumination Entertainment, which developed Minions. The animated film will appear on December 21, 2022.

Finally, we got a gameplay trailer for Bayonetta 3, announced in 2017. The familiar long-haired witch fights enemies by turning into a butterfly and using a Godzilla-like monster. The release is scheduled for 2022.
So far, both games are in the early stages of development.
