Gaijin Entertainment and Darkflow Software announce that the military online shooter Enlisted has received a major update 0.2.0, which opens the second stage of the game's life. The “Battle of Tunisia” campaign has been released to the public – the last of the four promised before the start of the project, and in the “Battle for Moscow”, “Battle for Berlin” and “Invasion of Normandy” there are new missions and other content – weapons, soldiers, equipment . Work on upcoming campaigns is already underway, specific battles will be announced later. In addition, new mechanics and interface improvements have become available to all players, as well as a new game mode “Destruction”, introduced into the game taking into account the wishes of users.
In the “Destruction” mode, players make their way to strategically important enemy targets, plant explosives and repel counterattacks until the target is blown up. Defenders can retake the object and clear it. Explosives in this mode are in every soldier of the attacking side. New mechanics include digging trenches right in the middle of battle, calling for smoke artillery strikes, carrying weapons between campaigns, and individual orders to individual squad members. Motorcycles and boats can be used to quickly maneuver around the battlefield.
Combat in the mission "Omer" in Normandy takes place on a map inspired by the real-life city of Saint-Omer in northern France. Players who have already mastered the landing on the beach and fighting in the countryside will try their hand at urban combat with snipers on rooftops and grenade launchers in the windows of houses, and the channel in the city center will help you quickly break through from one end of the city to the other. In the “Sand Quarry” near Moscow, players will find an industrial landscape with bulldozers and cranes, man-made embankments and water-filled workings. And the “Fortress” in Tunisia is a military base surrounded by powerful walls.
The update adds new progression levels to all Enlisted campaigns. Players can unlock, for example, the PIAT grenade launcher, the Bren Mk I machine gun, the Beretta M38/42 submachine gun, the R 75 motorcycle, the Panther A medium tank, the MiG-3-15 fighter, and dozens of other weapons and vehicles. Also, everyone can now try content from the closed beta test of the “Battle for Tunisia”, such as Carcano M1891 rifles and AB 41 armored cars.
