Representatives of the Blizzard studio answered the question of why they do not want to add a transparent map to Diablo 4 . In previous parts of the series, this element was present, but now the developers want to change the approach to orienteering.
Previously, as noted by the developers, players very quickly switched between traveling the world and killing demons. However, in some cases, the transparent map was not removed from the screen at all, which, of course, helped to find the right path, but loaded the interface. Diablo 4 has a tendency to minimize the elements on the screen, and for this reason the transparent map seemed superfluous to the studio.
At the same time, Blizzard's decision on this matter may change in the future.
Recall that the release of Diablo 4 will take place on June 6.
