Valheim will be released on consoles at some point in the future, according to the studio's co-founder. Speaking to GamesRadar+ , Iron Gate's Henrik Törnqvist said that his team is "discussing" the possibility of releasing Valheim on consoles.
For now, Tornqvist says that porting the game is "a debatable option," but a decision has yet to be made, so it's not even a rough estimate of when the console versions will be released.
As a reminder, Valheim was released on Steam Early Access earlier this year and almost instantly became one of the most successful PC games, surpassing the 7 million copies sales threshold in a matter of weeks.
The success of the game on PC means that the game will definitely have console fans. Iron Gate also doesn't say anything about which consoles the studio is targeting - current and/or previous generation.
The project is codenamed Half-Life X.
We are talking about the full release of version 1.0.
