Microsoft may leave the UK

Brad Smith, who is president of one of the largest corporations Microsoft, said that his company may cease its activities in the UK. So the company can respond to the actions of the British regulator, which banned the deal to buy the holding company Activision Blizzard.

According to Mr. Smith, in this way the regulator impedes the development of the technology industry of its country, blocking the infusion of huge investment funds into the industry. The head calls this decision the worst act of the state authorities for four decades during which Microsoft works in the Great Britain.

At the end of the conversation with journalists, Mr. Smith noted that now the Microsoft management can review its work strategy and instead of pouring money into the business of Albion, the funds can be directed to the development of the European Union segment.
