The Newzoo team has published a fresh financial report showing the top-grossing games in the first quarter of 2023. According to the document, Hogwarts Legacy adventure brought the most money from sales in the US and UK to its creators.
Unfortunately, the authors did not specify the specific amount of revenue earned by the games. Apparently, they estimate the number of copies sold. The developers of Hogwarts Legacy themselves noted that in just a couple of weeks after the release, the adventure game sold 12 million copies.
Hogwarts Legacy is followed by the cooperative survival game Sons of the Forest.
The success of the title is quite expected.
