Game journalist and insider Jez Corden has revealed that Capcom is planning to restart its Dead Rising action series. According to the reporter, the company used to think about releasing a continuation of the title in its current form, but then the developers changed their minds.
Currently, Dead Rising has four games, the last of which was released in 2017. The project was coolly received by the players, and therefore the series went into a long suspended animation. Corden can't say exactly what will happen to the franchise, but apparently we are in for a story that is somewhat reminiscent of Dead Island.
