LEAGUE OF LEGENDS: WILD RIFT

Designed to compete with mobile MOBA giants, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and King of Glory (HoK/AoV), the brainchild of Riot Games is making a strong entry.

Riot Games have already announced their plans to make Wild Rift a sustainable esports MOBA game independent of LoL. So fans or aspiring professional mobile game players can start their gaming career in these upcoming 2021 esports games.

In addition to Riot Games' own regional leagues, many have already seen the potential in the game since its launch, offering at least five-figure prize pools.

TRACKMANIA

No one expects a two-decade-old franchise to appear in an article about upcoming esports games. That said, Trackmania could be the next big thing after quietly advancing over the past decade. The game has always had a loyal esports audience, especially in France. Thanks to ESWC and a very dedicated record-setting community, Trackmania has never been forgotten, even years after its heyday.

The latest release, simply titled Trackmania (2020), aims to return to its former glory and revive the esports scene. Thanks to content creators like Wirtual, Trackmania has regained interest from content creators and former players alike. Players are returning en masse to past Trackmania titles such as TM Nations and TM Nations Forever to set new records and restart their careers.

Warzone ranks relatively high on our list of upcoming 2021 esports games due to its focus on customizable weapons. From the muzzle to the magazines, each weapon has its own stats to give players an idea of inventory management.

Warzone definitely offers a breath of fresh air when it comes to first-person shooters and battle royales in general. Of course, for starters, the Call of Duty franchise already has a loyal following. This means that the esports side of Warzone will only grow exponentially, making it one of the best upcoming esports games to watch.

We are still waiting for official confirmation from Activsion on the esports side of Warzone. Looking at how PUBG has been doing lately, we may see all BRs make another push towards esports.
