Mac Walters, who wrote the Mass Effect space trilogy and authored the Mass Effect: Andromeda story, dreams of BioWare releasing a sequel to the sub-franchise. So far, the organization plans to make the 5th part of the original series, designed to return us to the origins of the title.
According to Walters, he joined the development team for Mass Effect: Andromeda at a later stage, and even then he saw that the game was in serious trouble. Initially, the project planned to implement a procedurally generated world, but then this idea was abandoned. And, if the team had a second chance, they would show exactly what they managed to learn during the development and support of the current version of the title.
Recall that after the problematic release of Mass Effect: Andromeda, BioWare Montreal was merged with EA Motive, so it is unlikely that we will ever see a full-fledged continuation of this game.
