The Lord of the Rings: Gollum faces heavy criticism on release

Some time ago, the official release of the new adventure The Lord of the Rings: Gollum , which was developed by Daedalic. The novelty did not cause delight among the public, but rather drowned in criticism due to the mass of problems that were visible even on the first trailers.

In their reviews, users speak negatively about outdated graphics, boring plot and flat characters. The developers got nuts for the presence of a lot of technical problems that are present even in the console versions of the title. The only positive is the pleasant soundtrack and the mechanics of Gollum's split personality, but otherwise The Lord of the Rings: Gollum does not deserve attention.

Well, it was clear from the first trailers, when we saw the wretched picture and the monotonous process of hiding from the orcs.

The game received the following ratings from critics:

  • GameSpot - 2/10

  • Shacknews - 6/10

  • Push Square - 2/10

  • PCGamesN - 3/10

  • Press Start - 3/10

  • WellPlayed - 3/10

  • Inverse - 3/10
