Dataminer reveals that Elden Ring's Graveyard was originally conceived quite differently

A dataminer named Sekiro Dubi spoke about what information he found in the files of the Elden Ring game. According to the person, the developers from FromSoftware initially made a completely different Graveyard, and at the end of the work it was decided to remake the location.

Initially, the Graveyard was called Tenebrae, there were no nephels on it, and completely different characters lived there instead. During the exploration of the location, the hero was supposed to meet a character named Gilbert (they even managed to record voice acting for him), and the battles included a battle with one of the powerful bosses, the Crucible Knight Ordovis. For Gilbert, even his own chain of quests was planned, but, apparently, it did not grow together.

It is not clear why the content was decided to be cut, but it clearly happened just before the testing of the game, which started in 2021. In the end, the game still turned out great.
