Hideo Kojima is rumored to be consulting with the developers of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Remake. This became known after another statement made by an anonymous source Millie A. This well-known gaming industry analyst has repeatedly shared reliable rumors, which were subsequently confirmed by official sources.
This time around, Millie A claims that Metal Gear Solid series creator Hideo Kojima will be helping produce the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake. In particular, he will become a project consultant.
The author of the rumors assures that Konami President Hideki Haikawa is aware that the success of the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater directly depends on the participation of Hideo. The statement states that Kojima is not directly involved in the development, but acts solely as a consultant and advisor.
The game is being developed by Singapore-based studio Virtous, which is not affiliated with Konami in any way. This became possible due to the fact that the famous Japanese publisher decided to change its view on outsourcing and is now ready to provide the development of its projects to third-party studios.
