Representatives of the studio People Can Fly sadly admitted that their co-op shooter Outriders still has not paid back the cost of its production. Since the release, for a moment, more than two years have passed, so we can safely say that this game has become a commercial failure for developers.
The development of Outriders was fully funded by Square Enix, which acted as the publisher, and PCF itself would have profited if the game covered the costs and continued to earn. This has not happened yet, and therefore in the future the shooter is unlikely to develop, even in the form of content updates.
Meanwhile, the players liked Outriders, although the project did not gain much popularity.
Reynolds fought the reporters as best he could.
We will also be shown new gameplay.
There is little information, so the shooter could be based on the StarCraft, Warcraft universe, or a completely new IP.
