Information appeared on the website of the US Department of Tourism, which indicates that there will be no E3 gaming exhibitions in 2024 and 2025. Previously, the event was also canceled in 2023, as almost all gaming companies showed no interest in the exhibition.
On the other hand, the ESA representatives who organized E3 in the past have not yet confirmed the cancellation of future events. The staff clarified that negotiations are now underway regarding exhibitions, however, they did not comment on the instructions from the USDP regarding the refusal to hold E3.
Recall that in the past, E3 was perhaps the largest event in the industry for many years. Organizers had problems after the pandemic, when all such mass events around the world were cancelled.
