Representatives of the Frictional Games studio said that in the future, fans of their work will be able to see not only new horror games. The team plans to develop and comprehend other genres, whereas before they were prevented from doing this by limited funding.
The games of the Amnesia series, which gained fame, allowed the creators not only to move to the office (the team used to work remotely), but also to think about expanding. As for the existing horror titles, in future sequels, the authors will also focus less on horror elements, and will concentrate on working out a deep atmosphere and storytelling. Despite this, the familiar elements that are characteristic of the classic games of the studio will not go anywhere.
All in all, a commendable endeavor. We are waiting for new masterpieces from the horror masters!
