The first update for Back 4 Blood made mutants less dangerous opponents. Game developer Turtle Rock has released the patch notes, now available on all platforms, telling players that its main focus is to "try to address some of the overly-high difficulty issues" in the campaign mode.
In fact, with this patch, the developers tried to simplify the game and the task assigned to the team of gamers by reducing the frequency of appearance of "special" monsters at all difficulty levels. The patch also changes the rate at which supply points are gained when replaying levels.
The "Swarm" mode has also undergone changes. The number of weak points in the Boyzers has increased, their health and damage have decreased. Stingers and Hawkers have been changed. Finally, the Talboys have received a small damage boost.
An interesting move on Turtle Rock's part, as the company didn't even give gamers time to develop the most effective tactics to deal with the zombie hordes.
