As stated by FromSoftware and Bandai Namco, Elden Ring has been delayed to February 2022.
The game was originally scheduled to launch in January 2022, but the developers decided to take extra time to thoroughly test and finalize the game created with George R.R. Martin. Now Souls-like will be released on February 25, 2022.
In a statement, Bandai Namco points out the following:
The amount of depth and freedom that the game has has strategically exceeded all of our expectations, so we decided to slightly extend the development time for final adjustments, pushing the release date to February 25, 2022.
Obviously, the news is sad, but there is also a small reason for joy. The developers have announced a closed beta testing, which will be held from 13 to 15 November, but only in Australia.
