The creators of The Last of Us are unlikely to please fans with news about the future of the series in the near future

Yesterday, fans of The Last of Us franchise celebrated another anniversary of the title. Usually on this day the Naughty Dog studio would tell some interesting news about its brainchild, but not this time.

Survival fans were waiting for the developers to tell something new about the series or, for example, share plans to release a sequel on PS5 consoles, but none of this happened. Moreover, nothing was said about a separate multiplayer project in the universe, about which rumors have been circulating on the Internet for a very long time. They just showed us the game art and shared details about the new merch, and that was the end of the holiday stream.

Well, all we can do is wait and hope that the series beloved by many will not wither away on such a sad note.
