Electronic Arts has announced that in the near future the shooter Battlefield 2042 will be transferred to a new version of anti-cheat. The new system will work at the kernel level, which will not only improve the accuracy of its operation, but will also close all possible holes in the code that previously allowed hackers to bypass the protection.
For the first time, EAAC technology was presented in the game FIFA 23. The authors promise that Battlefield 2042 fans who do not use prohibited software will not notice the transition to the new anti-cheat, but the cheaters themselves will immediately start having problems. We hope that this is not bragging, but a real promise.
Earlier, insider Tom Henderson said that the next season, in which the EAC is planned to be introduced, will be officially presented on October 6.
Reynolds fought the reporters as best he could.
We will also be shown new gameplay.
There is little information, so the shooter could be based on the StarCraft, Warcraft universe, or a completely new IP.
