The new trailer for Elden Ring showed the first real gameplay of the game. In it, you can see how huge the game world is, get a better idea of the multiplayer mode, the summoning of the spirit, stealth with stunning kills, crafting and other elements.
The trailer was filmed on an unfinished PC build of the game and starts at a location called Site of Grace. This is one of the Dark Souls campfire-style checkpoints in The Lands Between. A beam of guiding light emanating from this location gives clues as to where to go next, but the trailer emphasizes that it is up to the player to decide whether to follow the marked route or choose their own.
The character from the trailer is riding a horse and is suddenly attacked by a dragon, who must be fought with magic and melee attacks. As soon as it is possible to weaken the dragon, the battle ends with an accurate blow to the eye, which is highlighted with an orange marker and is considered a weak point.
Then we move on to a quieter scene. The giant Pot Boy is stuck in the ground and needs help. Our hero helps him, and a dialogue begins between them. Rumor has it that Elden Ring is more character-driven than previous FromSoftware titles.
We then see a new character wielding two scimitars. Here we are given a better idea of the world, which is obviously going to be huge, and we have many different markers for the multiplayer component to share the location of resources for crafting or dungeons.
This character seems to specialize in stealth, as indicated by the way he clears the enemy camp at night. It puts enemies to sleep with the help of cursed arrows created from materials dropped by monsters. In general, there are many interesting elements in the trailer, as you can see by viewing it for yourself.
