Gaming insider Tom Henderson said that in the next parts of the Assassin's Creed series, the plot of the projects will take us to the future.
The first such game in line will be a project with the subtitle Red, which the UIbisoft studio is currently working on. Much of the story will take place in medieval Japan, but some twists will allow players to find themselves in the late 21st century. The developers will use this approach to introduce new characters to fans of the series.
The release of Assassin's Creed Red is planned for the end of 2024. Henderson has not yet spoken about other games in the future setting in the series.
The information was also confirmed by another reliable source.
The samurai action game couldn't beat out only Helldivers 2 and God of War.
So far, both games are in the early stages of development.
The success of the title is quite expected.
