Global changes in Twitch (18+)

The platform allows streamers to perform stripteases, erotic dances, and even painting on women's breasts as part of their broadcasts. The new rules caused widespread resonance in the community and became the subject of discussion among users and content creators on the platform.
Global changes in Twitch (18+)

Twitch has updated its rules and announced significant changes, giving users the ability to stream a wider variety of adult content.

The following content is now permitted, with appropriate markings:

  • Displaying naked breasts, buttocks or pelvic area with obvious intent;
  • Full display of fictitious (drawn, animated or sculpted) nude female breasts and/or genitalia and buttocks, regardless of gender, for the purpose of supporting artistic creativity;
  • Painting of female breasts and/or buttocks, regardless of gender;
  • Erotic dancing, including striptease, with obvious signs of undressing or explicit gestures;
  • Twerking and pole dancing are now allowed without special labeling.

Twitch representatives noted that the previous subjective assessment of content that violates platform policies has been revised. They also highlighted that previous policies on sexually explicit content did not meet industry standards and often resulted in disproportionate penalties for streamers, particularly in cases of bans on female nudity that were found to be unjustified.

Now female streamers have the opportunity to completely expose their breasts and draw on them, and artists on streams can freely demonstrate any drawn parts of the body. One??ko, it is prohibited to demonstrate sexual acts, including drawn ones.

It's important to note that Twitch's video gaming policy remains unchanged. Broadcasts of games where nudity or sex are the main theme remain completely prohibited. Also prohibited are custom mods that involve undressing characters.
