Despite the early announcement of some details, full technical specifications of the equipment will only be presented during the event.
The first model has a 31.5-inch diagonal screen with UHD resolution (3840 x 2160), achieving a pixel density of 140 PPI. At the moment, this is the highest indicator among monitors with OLED technology.
The second model, which has a more modest 27 inches and a QHD resolution (2560x1440), stands out for its high refresh rate of an impressive 360 Hz. This parameter is also a record for OLED monitors, surpassing the usual 240 Hz. Samsung achieved this through the use of Quantum Enhancer technology based on artificial intelligence. In addition, the second model boasts a response time of only 0.03 ms.
Samsung says that the monitors are already in production, and their release to the general public is planned for 2024, although the developer has not yet disclosed the exact dates.
