The remade final episode of “The Boy’s Word” will be released as scheduled

Director Zhora Kryzhovnikov announced that the last episode of the crime drama “Words of a Boy. Blood on the Asphalt will still appear on December 21, despite initial plans to postpone the premiere due to reshoots of the episode.

The creators decided to improve the ending, making it “cooler, more emotional and poignant.” Despite concerns that the work would not be completed on time, delays were avoided. The new version of the eighth series will be shown on the START and Wink services. Earlier, the original ending of the show was leaked online.

“The boy’s word. Blood on the Asphalt" is a TV show about youth groups in Kazan in the late 1980s, based on the book by Robert Garayev "The Boy's Word. Criminal Tatarstan of the 1970s-2010s." The first episode of the show was released on November 9, 2023.
