The upcoming Future Games will feature the Battle of the Robots superfinals, where 16 teams will compete for an impressive prize pool of $500,000. The event, scheduled for February 24-26 in Kazan, promises to bring together both professional engineers and students of technological universities, as well as amateur robotics enthusiasts.
Teams from Russia and 10 foreign countries, including Belarus, Brazil, Chile, Iran, Iran, Kazakhstan, Turkey, UAE, China, India and Ecuador, are eligible to participate in the tournament. The selection included an assessment of the participants' experience, design and creativity of the legend describing the creation of the robot.
At the moment four teams are known, which won the "Battle of the Robots" and got the right to participate in the superfinal: Roc from China (1st place), DS Robotics from India (2nd place), "Turbomechatronics" from Moscow (3rd place) and Energy Girls from St. Petersburg (4th place).
"Battle of the Robots" is part of the international fijtal tournament "Future Games". As part of this championship, engineering teams demonstrate their skills in designing and battling robots in a high-tech ring. The duration of the battle is three minutes, and the jury determines the winner based on the amount of damage caused by the robots.
