Earlier, a rumor circulated around the web that Electronic Arts is planning to release the next installment of the Battlefield series in the spring of 2025. However, according to insider Tom Henderson, the release will be delayed.
The journalist suggests that EA will not be ready to unveil its new game until late 2025 or early 2026. Henderson is sure that the publisher has taken into account earlier mistakes and will no longer release games that take a year and a half to develop. This clearly affects the franchise and sales in a bad way, and players are already tired of such conveyors.
It is known that at the current stage EA is making three games on the Battlefield franchise at once.
So far, both games are in the early stages of development.
