The "Prey" director will shoot a new project in the Predator universe

20th Century Studios is busy developing a new movie in the Predator universe, and its director will be Dan Trachtenberg.

It was he earlier for the company sci-fi action movie "Prey", the events of which unfolded in the same universe. That time a young Indian girl confronted an intergalactic hunter when he arrived on Earth for the first time.

The new movie has already been titled Badlands, that said, it won't be a sequel to Prey, although that is in the works right now. In the new movie, the plot will unfold in the future and will tell the story of the Earthling's confrontation with several Predators at once. Its premiere date has not yet been announced.
