Christian Svensson, who serves as strategic director of projects at Sony, has announced that the Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy will remain exclusive to PS5 consoles.
More specifically, these games will definitely not be released on Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch consoles (PC is an exception, the first remake is already available on this platform). This is an important aspect for the company, as FF7 was originally born on PS consoles, and in the future these platforms will remain the main for these and future parts of the franchise.
Recall that the second remake was released in February this year, and the final part is expected only in 4-5 years.
So far, both games are in the early stages of development.
The success of the title is quite expected.
New heroes, new challenges.
