Bungie held the second stream dedicated to the upcoming Into the Light update for Destiny 2. In this episode, the developers introduced weapons from the past that are returning to the game and other innovations.
One of the most talked about innovations among fans was the Superblack shader, which will debut in the second part of the upcoming update. This shader was already introduced in the original Destiny.
The Into the Light update will add a number of community-favorite guns from past versions to the game, including the Mountain Peak, Hermit Spider, Midnight Coup, and Moon Howl. Players will also have access to a new social space, the Hall of Champions, which will house reward chests and vendors such as Arsite 99-40 and Lord Shax.
With the release of the next expansion, The Final Shape, players can rejoice in the increased vault capacity by 100 slots. And the game will also feature weapons with preset perks that can be obtained by completing quests from Arsite as part of the Into the Light update.
The free Into the Light update will be released on April 9. The Final Shape expansion will launch on June 4.
