The development of Ubisoft's multiplayer shooter XDefiant is once again facing problems. Previously, the company planned to release the game by the end of March 2024, but now the developers have announced further changes to the schedule.
The reason for the postponement, according to studio representatives, is the need for additional polishing of the game. To improve the quality of the shooter, the development team plans to conduct a 12-hour stress test on PC and last-gen consoles, hoping to gain valuable data to determine a new release date. Ubisoft has not yet specified a specific timeline for the game's completion.
XDefiant's announcement happened in 2021, followed by closed beta testing. Since then, the game's release date has been postponed several times.
