Telltale is still in development on The Wolf Among Us 2

The development of The Wolf Among Us 2 continues under Telltale Games, according to a report from IGN.

According to the information, publisher Deck Nine was temporarily making some changes to the script for The Wolf Among Us 2, but Telltale took full control of the project after encountering financial difficulties. A Telltale spokesperson confirmed that work on The Wolf Among Us 2 is going full steam ahead internally, and no collaboration with outside artists is envisioned.

Telltale Games emphasizes its independence in the production of The Wolf Among Us 2, while not ruling out the possibility of a further partnership with Deck Nine. Originally announced in 2019, The Wolf Among Us 2 moved into an active development phase two years later. Unlike the first installment, the release plan for the second season calls for the simultaneous release of all episodes.
