Not much is known about the details of the studio's next project, but gamers will have a chance to try out the new game before its official release.
Speaking with Game File, Michael Dawes, head of publishing department at Larian, said that the development of the new title is already underway, and the game will be presented to the audience in early access format. This practice has already been applied by the studio when creating its recent projects, including Divinity: Original Sin and Baldur's Gate 3, where feedback from the gaming community played a key role.
It should also be noted that after the completion of Baldur's Gate 3, Larian ended its partnership with Wizards of the Coast, which implies that their next game will be based on a different system of rules and mechanics than BG3.
