New strategy with Microtopia robotic ants unveiled

Phormic Studios has announced their new game Microtopia, in which players will lead a colony of robotic ants. The game is scheduled to launch in 2024, and the page has already been added to Steam.

In this unique project, participants are invited to explore worlds filled with electronic waste and create miniature ant civilizations in these conditions. The main tasks include resource extraction, building structures and developing routes for ants to move around, which will perform a variety of functions.

In the Microtopia game, a key element will be the development of behavioral algorithms for the ants, using various sensors and logic elements to efficiently organize the colony. The game will also offer a technology tree, allowing you to unlock new features as you progress.
