This week it was revealed that the EA Motive team will focus their efforts on developing an Iron Man game and a new Battlefield installment, putting the fate of the Dead Space 2 remake in question.
During the Game Mess Mornings podcast, journalist Jeff Grubb revealed that although EA Motive was developing a Dead Space 2 remake, the project was put on hold due to low sales of the updated version of the first installment. According to him, work on Dead Space 2 has not progressed beyond the conceptual stage.
Grubb suggests that EA Motive may return to the project of Dead Space 2 remake in the future, but at the moment fans of the series should not wait for it.
The information was also confirmed by another reliable source.
The samurai action game couldn't beat out only Helldivers 2 and God of War.
So far, both games are in the early stages of development.
The success of the title is quite expected.
