Skybound Entertainment has launched a fundraising campaign to fund a AAA game based on Robert Kirkman's Invincible universe. The development team includes professionals who have previously worked for companies such as EA and Blizzard.
The studio currently employs over 30 people and is expected to add more, though exact plans to expand the team have not yet been announced. Details about the project, including the game's genre, target platforms, story or game mechanics, remain unknown for now.
Skybound is aiming to raise up to $5 million in a two-week crowdfunding campaign, although it is believed that this is not the full budget for the project, as developing a AAA game requires a much larger investment.
So far, the developers have raised $441,500. The fundraising campaign will end on April 30.
This is an action movie based on Game of Thrones.
