Risk of Rain 2 will soon receive a free update, which will include a new map and artifacts for this roguelike. At the same time, developer Gearbox Software is preparing to release a major DLC called Seekers of the Storm.
The latest developer diary revealed new locations available for exploration in the upcoming add-on. In addition, a crossover with Dead Cells has been announced and will be included in the free Devotion update, which introduces the new Verdant Falls map.
The Seekers of the Storm DLC introduces six new stages, ranging from ancient Lemurian temples to intense combat on an unspecified new map." These locations promise plenty of secrets to unlock. Petrichor V is a wild and gorgeous world that invites players to explore uncharted territories.
An exact release date for Seekers of the Storm has not yet been announced.
The film will premiere on July 26, 2024.
Sales of the game have exceeded expectations! More games are in the pipeline.
Hellblade 3 will have to wait, though, as we're talking about an entirely new franchise.
