And once upon a time, the game was considered a crapshoot.
Thanks to the series, Fallout 76 updated its daily online record

More than five years after release, Fallout 76 has set a new record for online activity on Steam. On the evening of April 21, the game attracted more than 67,000 concurrent users, setting a record for all previous figures since the game's release.

The rise in interest in the game as a whole has been spurred by the release of a new TV series from Amazon that immerses viewers in the post-apocalyptic Fallout universe. After the series premiered, the project's popularity increased markedly. Within a week of the show's debut, the number of simultaneous players in Fallout 76 increased fivefold. Prior to the show's release, the peak number of players rarely exceeded 13,000 people.

Despite the initial criticism of Fallout 76 for numerous technical problems, now the attitude to the game is mostly positive, and the number of favorable reviews continues to grow, especially after the sharp increase in audience.
