Iron Gate Studios has unveiled an update for Valheim users that includes a new biome - Ashlands. The update is currently available for testing on Steam at brunch 0.218.9.
With the arrival of the Ash Lands, users will discover over 30 different weapon types, as well as meet new creatures and monsters, some of which are showcased in the trailer.
The add-on also brings new clothing items to Valheim, including a pair of capes and three sets of armor, as well as new types of bombs, locations, and item crafting materials. The update brings over 15 potions and food items, adding over 70 new crafting items to the total.
Ashlands has taken over a year to develop, with the first announcements coming in January 2023. No timeline for the biome's full release has yet been announced.
