Game of Thrones is getting a new MMORPG

According to information from Redanian Intelligence, a multiplayer role-playing game based on "Game of Thrones" is being developed. Game project is engaged in the Korean holding Nexon.

The events of the tittle, according to preliminary data, unfold during the fourth or fifth season of the popular series. Among the key events of the game:

• Roose Bolton already holds the position of Guardian of the North.
  

Jon Snow and Sam Tarly are still serving in the Night's Watch.

• The action is set in the northern part of the Seven Kingdoms, including Winterfell and the Wall. In the story campaign mode, players will meet many familiar characters.

Interesting fact: the characters will apparently be voiced by actors from the original HBO series, but the new cast aims to replicate their voices. According to preliminary information, players will be offered a choice between a male character and a female character, both of whom will be actively involved in the story.

The game is being compared to The Elder Scrolls Online, but not much is known about it yet: no title or release date has been announced. It is speculated that it could come out in 2025 or 2026.
