Released last year, Wizard with a Gun by Galvanic Games received a lot of positive reviews.
Despite the fact that several months have passed since the release, the developers continue to actively support their roguelike shooter. Initially the game offered a cooperative mode for only two players, but soon this limit will be expanded.
Galvanic Entertainment along with publisher Devolver Digital have announced a new update called Better Together for Wizard with a Gun. Scheduled for May 13, the update will add the ability to play the game in co-op with up to four people. While the developers originally wanted to include this feature from the beginning, they had to delay its implementation and only revisit it after the game's launch.
In addition to expanded co-op, the Better Together update will bring other significant changes such as new difficulty settings. Players will get four difficulty options: Gunslinger, Sheriff, Outlaw and Custom, the latter of which will allow players to manually customize various game settings. Galvanic Games will also add a new in-game library, where players will be able to reread all the information they've gathered about the world and enjoy additional endgame content.
Wizard with a Gun is currently available on PS5, Xbox Series and PC. A Nintendo Switch version of the game is also in development, but no release date has yet been announced.
