Half-Life 3 and two other games in the series are already in development!

Insider Tyler McVicker revealed that Valve had set up a small department that had already begun work on Half-Life 3 . However, for now, most of the team is developing a portable Steam Deck console, which will appear in early 2022.

Another game in the Half-Life series, codenamed Citadel , a shooter with strategy elements, should be released within two years. The game should demonstrate the full power of the Steam Deck console.

The team is also developing a VR title . The official name has not yet been disclosed, but there is a code - HLX. A small team is working on its creation. The title will be less demanding than Half-Life: Alyx , so it can be run on less powerful VR helmets. Tyler stressed that due to the low popularity of VR, the project could be cancelled.
