Ubisoft has released the final trailer of XDefiant, a Call of Duty-style multiplayer shooter. This game features characters from the company's various franchises battling it out, with matches taking place on recognizable maps such as New York City.
In XDefiant, a Third Echelon operative from Splinter Cell can battle a Cleaner from the world of The Division. The developers were inspired by Far Cry, The Division and the company's other projects when creating the maps. Ubisoft expects XDefiant to appeal to fans of various franchises. The game will be distributed for free, it is planned to regularly add new characters, maps and other content.
At release, the game will feature 14 maps, 5 modes, 5 factions and 24 weapons. Each season will add three new maps and three weapons to XDefiant, as well as new factions.
XDefiant will be released on May 21 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.

There is little information, so the shooter could be based on the StarCraft, Warcraft universe, or a completely new IP.
