With the release of Venom: The Last Dance, the movie series will come to an end

Sony Motion Pictures Group chairman, Tom Rothman, revealed in an interview with Deadline that Venom: The Last Dance will be the final installment of the series.

Rothman did not reveal the reasons behind the decision to end the franchise. However, he emphasized that Venom will have a worthy and sweeping conclusion to the trilogy. Details about the plot of the movie have not been disclosed yet.

The movie was directed by Kelly Marcel and the script was written by Tom Hardy and Kelly Marcel. The movie stars Tom Hardy, Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Clark Bako, Peggy Lou and others. Venom: The Last Dance is scheduled to have its world premiere on October 25, 2024.
